We are excited to announce that Bat Melech is one of the winners of this year’s Genesis Prize for Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality.
Bat Melech was chosen from a field of 220 Israeli women’s rights organizations that applied for the prize, all of whom serve women from Israel’s ethnic and religious groups in one of the following areas: Integrating and creating opportunities for women from different socio-economic backgrounds; empowering women to resist violence; Promoting rights, gender equality and the status of women in minority groups.
It is a privilege to be among the final 37 recognized organizations that are engaged in doing good for women all over Israel.
We are most grateful to the Genesis Prize Foundation and the Morris Kahn Foundation for recognizing Bat Melech’s professionalism and dedication to ending domestic violence in Israel.
It is truly a badge of honor.
